Bad Examples
You should have a section on bad examples, starting with this wiki. When trying to edit while not logged in gets this message:
"You do not have permission to edit pages, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group emailconfirmed."
What was that about not blaming the user?

You're right. We totally should! No excuses... but it's true, mediawiki's default error messages are lame, blame the user, and worse, many other patterns are violated (such as sign-in continuity.)
